At Beech Academy we believe that it is important for pupils to undertake some academic study at home. Completing homework or learning extension tasks supports pupils in many ways; it supports their learning in school, helps young people to develop positive study skills and habits for the future and develops pupils’ independence.

The learning extension tasks set each term for pupils focuses on supporting the study of the respective novels for each year group.
