We hope that our class pages will be useful for supporting home learning, while showcasing some aspects of our curriculum at The Beech Academy.
The Beech Academy will be providing education remotely based on government guidelines for everyone to stay at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our Remote Education Plan has been written to help you understand what this means for you and your child and what you can expect from this new way of working.
A timetable will be sent from your child’s tutor group via email between 3 - 4pm for the following school day. Class timetables are designed to be as closely matched to your child's usual timetable as possible, and lessons continue to be in line with the relevant curriculum and scheme of learning. This will help you to provide structure for your child’s day and give opportunities for face to face interactive contact with the class teacher.
Resources for each week will be uploaded to class web pages. Paper packs will be provided to those families that have indicated that they will need this type of support. The class web pages are currently being developed, and will be updated to include:
Weduc will remain in use as the communication element of our approach. Teachers and parents/carers will also be able to email one another to share information and offer support. Please ensure that you are able to access your Weduc account, and get in touch if you have any issues with accessing your account.
