Michael studied at Nottingham Trent and Loughborough Universities starting teaching at All Saints’ Catholic Academy, Mansfield in September 2003. After progressing up the ranks as an Assistant Curriculum Leader, Head of Year, Assistant Head Teacher, Senior Assistant Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher, he joined the Evolve Trust in September 2015. His previous role as Director of School Improvement was Trust wide where he oversaw the Professional Learning Pathways, Pupil Premium, Learning Teaching and Research as well as undertaking specific work to support development needs in the Brunts, Beech and Bramble Academies. From September 2018, he has taken the position as Head Teacher at the Beech Academy. .
Sarah studied at London and Loughborough Universities and started teaching in 1985. Sarah’s interest in SEND led to a move to Garibaldi College where she became SENCO and Assistant Headteacher, and was awarded a Master degree in 2006. Sarah is a member of many multiagency groups shaping provision for young people with SEND. In her spare time enjoys watching sport.
Andrew graduated with a degree in Sports Science from Coventry University and went on to complete his Graduate Teaching Programme (GTP) at Nottingham Trent University in 2004. Alongside his teaching, his previous roles include, Head of key stage 4, Head of house and progress co-ordinator. Andrew joined Beech Academy in September 2018 and is now Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for curriculum and achievement. In his spare time, Andrew has a keen interest in Football, Music and Cycling.
Helen completed her PGCE (Primary) at Nottingham Trent in 2005. Having taught KS2, Helen moved to secondary to teach KS3 students with special needs. Progressing to become Assistant Head and SENCO, Helen completed the post-graduate Certificate in Special Needs in 2011. Helen now leads and teaches English at Beech. She is an avid fan of Mansfield Town, afternoon tea and shoe shopping.
