On Thursday evening we had a key stage 3 sleepover in school. For many pupils it was the first night away from their parents and they all did really well. They enjoyed team activities, pizzas, a very competitive game of rounders and a film before bedding down for the night in classrooms. In the morning, Dawn came in early to prepare breakfasts before lessons began and Julie delivered coffee for the staff who were all rather jaded!! Thank you to everyone for making it such a great event, especially our Governors Amanda Robinson and Louise Ingleby who came to join in the activities and Nicola Matthews who lent us camp beds! Staff are already planning for a key stage 4 and P16 event after the exams as well as further residential opportunities next year.
