Over the last six months, Nottinghamshire County Council has been working with parents and carers to co produce a new Short Breaks offer. To date over 400 children and young people with disabilities and their families have been involved.
A working group of parents/carers has been working with Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottinghamshire Parent Carer Forum to co-produce the new offer, and we now want to hear the views of as many families as possible on this proposal.
The Local Authority would welcome the views of families and these can be given via the following ways-
- By using the electronic survey which is available at the following link: https://consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/children-and-families-services/short-breaks-consultation/. The survey should take 10 minutes and all answers will be treated anonymously and kept confidential. The survey will close on Monday 29 January, 2018.
- By completing the attached paper version of the survey and returning it to:
Abbi Faulkner, Co-production Officer, Integrated Disability Children’s Service (Floor 3 Bridgford North), County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP – by Wednesday 31 January 2018.
The results of this survey will be shared on the Local Offer and will be used to shape the final model that will be presented to county councillors for their approval at the Children and Young People’s Committee in March 2018.
