Mansfield received a light coating of snow overnight and students were keen to make the most of it. We were fortunate that the snow on our all-weather pitch hadn’t melted and was still there at break time. Students were offered the chance to have a snowball fight, with clear rules (note the patch of no-man’s land in the middle) and the opportunity to pelt members of staff as well as each other.
The photo shows the fun the students had, there are more on our Facebook page. Mr Butler said he was grateful that most of the students were poor shots as he seemed to be a popular target! A great time was had by all.
Please keep an eye on the Beech Academy website (and Facebook/Twitter) for information relating to snow closures should we have a lot of snow over the weekend.
