Science origami

Year 11 students are busy revising and preparing for their GCSE exams.  As part of a revision session, our students followed instructions to make the double helix structure of DNA.  The photo below shows some of their models.  We wish our year 11 the very bests of luck in their forthcoming exams.

Unfortunately, Mr Butler wasn’t so good at folding his model and his DNA came out an unusual shape.  Students quickly realised that Mr Butler’s DNA was faulty and would cause problems to the animal/plant it came from!
