The Department for Education released the school performance tables for 2015 results last week and they show that Beech has performed well against other special schools regionally. Beech has a higher percentage of students making expected progress in English and Maths than other similar special schools.
Mr O’Malley (Head of School) said “We are delighted to see how we performed compared to similar schools within the area. Staff and students put a tremendous amount of work into ensuring that progress was good regardless of starting points since becoming an academy. This year we continue to develop our provision to ensure that students receive the best possible education both academically and in developing skills for independence.”
